| CERTIFIED ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN OUR PLANT |
- As one of the leading West European industrial companies, our plant in Belgium for the production of high temperature insulating boards is eco-certificated with an environment management system according to ISO 14001.
- In April 1995 an EC regulation was passed for the voluntary participation of industrial companies in a joint system for environment management and environmental control – the EC Eco-Audit regulation.
- The target of this EC Eco-Audit regulation is to achieve voluntary improvement of environmental quality in companies throughout the organisation and permanent, continuous development of an environment management system.
- Within the framework of the eco-audit procedure as well as according to ISO 14000 ff structures are created and an organisation is built up in order to guarantee continuous improvements for environmental protection. Every third year the enterprise is compared with the company targets that have been set.
